Lieneke Soolsma-Noordhoek

My name is Lieneke Soolsma-Noordhoek. I live in the beautiful town of Driel with my husband and two sons (2019 and 2021).

At secondary school, I discovered how special midwifery is and decided I wanted to become a midwife. After a few detours, I completed the course and I have been allowed to call myself a midwife since 2013. Since then, I have supervised many pregnant women and their partners during this beautiful, and sometimes intense period. I still find the transformation from man – woman to father – mother the most beautiful thing there is. 

In 2016 I also qualified as a basic ultrasound technician, which has made my already beautiful profession even better. Looking at your little miracle together and being able to tell you how your little one is growing is more fun than I ever thought. In 2021, I went back to school and expanded my ultrasound qualification to structural ultrasound technician, which means that I can now also perform 20-week scans.

Because I live a little further away, you will mainly see me at your scans. I look forward to meeting you there!
