As midwives, we specialise in the female body. It is therefore logical that we also offer support with the choice, prescription and placement of contraception.

Every woman's body and needs are different. So it is good to discuss with us what forms of contraception are available and which form suits you best. During the final maternity visit, we go through the various contraceptive methods, together with your wishes, expectations and any medical indications, making sure we provide clear and honest information. This allows you to make an informed choice.
